Viewpoint Technology
Revolutionizing the front-end experience of search, the Viewpoint
Toolbar demonstrates the flexibility and agility of Viewpoint Technology.
Available to users of the Viewpoint Network – a channel consisting
of approximately 120 million consumers in the US who use the Viewpoint
Media Player – and as a direct download, the Viewpoint Toolbar has
been well reviewed for the visual enhancements it brings to the
search experience.

Graphically Enhanced Search
Graphically Enhanced Search allows you to view thumbnail previews of
your search results. Each time you perform a search, the Toolbar will
generate a preview of the results returned for that search. Thumbnail
previews allow you to see your search results before you click through
– saving you time and helping you find what you need.

Internet Explorer Settings
Upon installation, the Toolbar adjusts some Internet Explorer browser
settings to enhance toolbar performance.
The Toolbar disables JavaScript error alerts (small dialogs
that appear when you encounter a web page that has a JavaScript
error). This feature is generally used by web developers when building
web content, and disabling alerts has no other effect on your browsing
experience. If you wish to re-enable JavaScript alerts, you can
do so by clicking on "Tools"
and choosing "Internet Options" in Internet Explorer. In the "Internet Options" dialog,
select the "Advanced" tab, scroll down to "Browsing"
and recheck "Display a notification about every script error."
The toolbar also defaults your address bar search to provide you
search suggestions when you mistype a URL in the browser address
bar. If your address bar or standard buttons no longer appear, please
check in the toolbar's submenu via the View menu. Make sure that
Standard Buttons and Address Bar are checked.
